Row Your Own river trips

Join our partner company Orange Torpedo Trips on a “row your own” trip on the Rogue, Klamath, Salmon, Owyhee or Umpqua Rivers.  On these trips you can show up with your gear and row or paddle yourself down the river.  Our guides will pack all the group gear, kitchen, rain/sun coverage, toilet system and your drybags and camping gear if you are a kayaker or inflatable kayaker.  You bring your boat, SUP, IK, Kayak, cat boat, drift boat or dory, pack your personal gear and we will take care of the rest.

The Main Salmon River, also known as “The River of No Return” is one of America’s premier sections of river and a must-do on any serious river runners list.  Join us for 6 days of rowing or paddling your craft of choice through amazing class III and IV rapids while floating through the largest continuous wilderness area in the lower 48 states.

Often called the Grand Canyon of Oregon the Owyhee is unlike anything else in the state.  Spectacular geography including a float through a canyon with vertical walls coming up out of the river and towering hundreds of feet overhead.  Generally class III whitewater with one class IV rapid but as the flows range from 500-18,000 CFS in any given season the nature of the whitewater can vary significantly.
