Rafting the Rogue River Rec Section.
The single day section of the Rogue River (AKA the recreation section) is an ideal spot for family or friends to get out and enjoy a day of rafting on the river. This 1-day section has the ideal mix of exciting class II rapids, calm pools for swimming, and even a few spots for cliff jumping. While this section has numerous put-in and take-out options the most popular are:
- Hog Creek to Grave Creek - The full day - 14 miles, 6-8 hours on average.
- Hog Creek to Galice - The Half-day - 7 miles, 3-4 hours on average.
- Ennis to Grave Creek - The 3/4 day trip with the most whitewater. 4-5 hours on average. Popular with the locals.

How to book your gear and logistics.
- Choose the type of boat(s) you want.
- Select your date
- Select your meet at our shop time
- Select the logistics you want.
- Add gear drop off, gear pickup, vehicle shuttles, or shuttle bus rides. You can also add additional gear like wetsuits, coolers, drybags, etc.
- When booking, if you do not add a gear drop/pickup we will assume you are picking up the gear and returning it to us at the end of the day. This is a great option for anyone with a pickup or a trailer. If you do this, you can add a vehicle shuttle and we will move your rig while you float. If you select a gear drop/pickup you will also need to select a vehicle shuttle OR a per-person ride in the shuttle bus.

High Gas Price Surcharge Policy
While Whitewater Cowboys strives to keep rafting as affordable as possible we are forced to respond to the recent high fluctuations in gas prices. For the summer of 2023 we are installing the following Sur-charge policies in response to evolving gas prices.
Fee Level 1 - Gas prices are $5.00-$5.49 per gallon from our supplier to us.
Fee Level 2 - Gas prices are $5.50-$5.99 per gallon from our supplier to us.

If you select a gear drop off and pickup we will drop your rented gear at your put-in and pick it up at your takeout. That does not include moving people. You will drive from our shop to the put-in location and meet us there. You can add a vehicle shuttle (we will move your rig from the put-in to your take-out) OR you can choose to purchase a per person ride on our shuttle bus. The shuttle bus will take you from your takeout back to your vehicle at the put-in. The shuttle bus option can result in some waiting at your takeout for the shuttle bus.
For a vehicle shuttle, ideally you will bring a spare set of keys. If you do not have a spare set of keys please have a good spot on your vehicle to hide a key.
